This creates great demand for medical professionals, nurses and paramedics.
There is a bright future for Indian nurses keen on going abroad Healthcare around the world is witnessing a dramatic shortage of qualified nurses. This is especially manifest in the West. U.S, U.K, Australia, Middle East and Europe have woken up to this crisis and are scrambling to cope with it. The US department of Labour estimates it,, the US WILL BE SHORT OF 400,000 nurses by 2010. The reimbursement for these Nurses may be as high as $70,000-1, 20,000 [approximately 28-60lakh rupees per year]
India has close to four million employed in the health care sector. By 2012,it is estimated to increase up to 10 million Nurses are the back bone of this sector. There has been a demand of nurses in the US, as much as 270,000! .It is the next wave Of outsourcing.
